Happy Halloween!
I know I haven't been around for a year but I plan on coming back to give you lessons. There's so much to report. I'm selling origami paper now. I'll be doing a page on it so you can buy from me. I sell only to the US and Canada. You get 180 sheets of 12 colours for $12.99 (includes shipping and handling)

One of the things I have trouble with is a video recorder. I've been using a simple webcam that I can't get the right colours or angle. If you would consider a pay pal donation then hit that button! I'd love to bring you lessons that are clearer and positioned properly!

Glad to have helped your Origami journey!

Contest and Sorry for Prolonged AWOL

Sorry for the long absence folks but I'm coming back loud and proud with a contest. I can tell you what the prize will be now:

180 sheets Multicolours Origami Paper 6" or 15cm square
1 Pack Yuzen Paper 30 6" sheets
300 sheets Multicolours Origami paper 3" or 7.5cm square

That 510 sheets of Origami paper!

I'm going to post a project and make it the contest project. You will have to make the project and send in a photo of it to me with your name and address to be entered into the draw.

In other news I found out I was a bit anemic. I'm taking iron supplements now to get my energy back. That's one of the reasons why I haven't made lessons in a few weeks. I finally feel like I'm getting better so back to folding we go! Thanks for being patient!

How to Fold an Origami Cube

You'll love this cube. You need 4 sheets of square paper. You can use computer paper and make it square and make your own designs on the papers. It's up to you. This cube was designed by Tomoko Fuse and it looks so nice when done.

Make the Cube any Size
You can make them any size you want just by adjusting your paper size, as long as all 4 pieces are square and equal size.

Use the Cube as a Gift or Gift Box
You can nest them if you like by putting a smaller one inside a larger one and so on if you'd like. They'd make a great handmade gift or you could put something inside the cube with some tissue paper.

Happy Spring!

How to Fold a Traditional Inflatable Rabbit

When I saw this lesson I absolutely loved it. I think my personal preference in Origami is similar to my love for Chinese Brush Painting. The simpler the shape that represents the object, the lines, the form is most pleasing to me. So when I saw this little puffy rabbit I thought, YES! I have to do a video on it. Enjoy

Bloody Blogger!

The comment function works. However, you can only see people's comments when you look at the post individually (ie. clicking on the title and viewing it separate). Yes, it's a major pain the culo so I've asked blogger if there's a way to fix this because when you look at my blog it looks like there's no comments there and there are!

I turned on commenting so people wouldn't have to email me and if you do comment on a post (individually, that is) I will still see it and will respond to it if need be.

Another tutorial coming up soon. Practice! I want you to master what I've taught so far or ask me questions about lessons so you can advance.

Thanks for being patient about the comment function.

Instead of sending me an email, you can now comment on this blog. You must have a Google account to do so. Please feel free to ask me as many questions as you need to. This is an educational blog so take full advantage of it.

I look forward to your comments!

Another Variation of the Modular Triangle Box

Here is another version of the triangle box, designed by Tomoko Fuse. This one is quite elegant. Remember that the top and bottom are made the exact same way so there's no adjustments necessary. Enjoy.
